Nope - not at all. The Adventure session pairs very well with a hike, as it keeps the scenery moving and we find most dogs love every second of it… which makes for more and better photos. However, this is NOT every dogs cup of tea (if dogs drank tea) and not every owners either. We have a few locations we love that LOOK like they’re way out there, but parking is available just across the street.

Great question - Pup safety is 100% absolutely our number 1 priority. We can remove collars and leashes (and people for that matter) easily in the editing process. If for ANY reason you don’t want your pup off leash, please keep them on the leash. We can do our jobs just the same, one way or another.

We like to plan these shoots about an hour before official suntime time. This lets us get to where we’re going, get to know you pup a bit so they’re comfortable with us (usually does not take long) and also get the best bit of light in. In Colorado Springs, our favorite lighting conditions are when the sun gets low to the mountains, and shortly after going behind them.

Great! We do too! =) For the purpose of the shoot; we can reasonably do about three at a time as a reasonable max. We do have a small upcharge of $50 per extra dog, as we’ll be taking a lot more photos and this brings up our editing time.

Absolutely. We would love it if you were in them, IF you want to be. The session is for the dog, but you’re their favorite person. If they want to be with you at their shoot, that’s cool with us.

We. Adore. Senior. Dogs. We’ve been there, we love how their relationship with us changes as they get older. We know you would do anything for them (cause we have, and we will again) and we’ll make ANYTHING work so you have wonderful photos of them forever. We’ll go over all of this in the pre-shoot phone call, but anything from mobility restrictions to finance reasons… We WILL make it work, please just reach out and talk to us about your situation.
